pHS-3C Benchtop pH Meter

The pHS-3C is a compact benchtop pH meter with a 4.3-inch color TFT touchscreen, ±0.01 pH accuracy and 1–3 point calibration. Designed for routine laboratory pH and mV measurement without complex setup or data management requirements. Supplied with E-331D composite pH electrode.

Product Description

The pHS-3C benchtop pH meter is a straightforward, reliable instrument for routine pH and electrode potential (mV) measurement in laboratory, quality control and educational environments. Built around a 4.3-inch color TFT touchscreen, it delivers a clear, intuitive interface at a compact footprint — suitable for benches where space is limited.

Unlike the pHS-3, pHS-4 and pHS-5, the pHS-3C is focused purely on measurement essentials: accurate pH and mV readings, simple push-button calibration, and manual temperature compensation. There is no data storage, printing or connectivity — making it the right choice for applications where results are recorded manually or where instrument simplicity is a priority.

The pHS-3C supports 1 to 3 point calibration with automatic recognition of JJG119 standard buffers and user-defined buffer values, and connects to all standard BNC and binding post electrodes.

Key Features:

  • 4.3-inch color TFT touchscreen — clear, easy-to-read display in a compact body
  • Wide pH range: -2.00 to 20.00 pH, covering acidic to strongly alkaline samples
  • ±0.01 pH accuracy with stability of ±0.01 pH / 3h
  • 1–3 point calibration with automatic recognition of JJG119 standard buffers and user-defined values
  • Manual temperature compensation (0–60°C)
  • BNC and binding post connectors for broad electrode compatibility
  • Simple operation — no data storage or connectivity functions to configure

FAQ

What is the difference between pHS-3C and pHS-3?

The pHS-3C has a 4.3-inch color touchscreen and covers the essentials: pH, mV and manual temperature compensation. It does not include data storage, GLP printing or USB/RS232 connectivity. The pHS-3 features a larger 7-inch touchscreen, 1–5 point calibration with multi-standard buffer recognition, 1500-point data storage, GLP printing and three-level user management. Choose the pHS-3C for straightforward routine use; choose the pHS-3 or above when data traceability and regulated workflows are required.

What is the difference between pHS-3C and pHS-3CT?

The pHS-3CT is the same instrument with an added T-820D temperature probe and automatic temperature compensation. The pHS-3CT measures and compensates for temperature automatically from -5.0°C to 110.0°C, making it more suitable for samples at elevated or variable temperatures. The pHS-3C uses manual temperature compensation in the 0–60°C range and does not measure temperature directly. If your samples vary significantly in temperature, the pHS-3CT is the better choice.

Does the pHS-3C have data storage or printing functions?

No. The pHS-3C does not include data storage, GLP printing or communication interfaces. Measurement results are read directly from the display and recorded manually. If data logging, printing or PC connectivity are required, consider the pHS-3, pHS-4 or pHS-5.

What buffer standards does the pHS-3C support?

The pHS-3C automatically recognises JJG119 standard buffers (Chinese national standard: pH 4.00, 6.86, 9.18). User-defined buffer values are also supported for custom calibration protocols.

Is the pHS-3C suitable for measuring ORP?

Yes. In mV mode, the pHS-3C measures electrode potential from -2000 to +2000 mV. Connect a compatible ORP electrode via the BNC input to measure oxidation-reduction potential directly.
