DJZH Series Electrode Connector Adapter

The DJZH Series electrode connector adapters enable electrodes with incompatible connector types to be used with any standard laboratory ion meter or pH meter. Three models available: DJZH-I (BNC to BNC), DJZH-II (BNC to Binding Post) and DJZH-III (BNC to Direct Plug). Solves cross-brand electrode and instrument connection compatibility issues.

Product Description

The DJZH Series electrode connector adapters are passive interface conversion accessories designed to resolve connector incompatibility between electrodes and instruments from different manufacturers. When an electrode’s connector type does not match the input socket of the target instrument, a DJZH adapter provides the mechanical and electrical bridge — allowing any compatible electrode to be used with any instrument, regardless of brand or connector standard.

The three models cover the most common connector conversion scenarios encountered in electrochemical laboratory work. Each adapter features a BNC (Q9) expansion terminal on one side and a different connector type on the other — BNC, binding post or direct plug — matching the range of connector formats used across pH meters, ion meters and conductivity instruments from different manufacturers.

As passive adapters with no active electronics, the DJZH series introduces no signal interference or measurement error. They are compact, durable and require no power or configuration — simply connect and measure.

Available Models:

  • DJZH-I — BNC expansion terminal + BNC: converts between BNC connector configurations
  • DJZH-II — BNC expansion terminal + Binding Post: connects BNC electrodes to binding post instrument inputs
  • DJZH-III — BNC expansion terminal + Direct Plug: connects BNC electrodes to direct plug instrument inputs

FAQ

When would I need an electrode connector adapter?

You need a connector adapter when the connector on your electrode does not physically match the input socket on your instrument. This commonly occurs when using electrodes from one manufacturer with an instrument from another, or when replacing an electrode with a different model that uses a different connector standard. Rather than purchasing a new electrode or instrument, a DJZH adapter provides a simple, cost-effective solution.

Which DJZH model should I choose?

Choose based on the connector types of your electrode and instrument. If your electrode has a BNC connector and your instrument has a binding post input, select DJZH-II. If your instrument has a direct plug input, select DJZH-III. If both electrode and instrument use BNC but with different pin configurations requiring an extension or conversion, select DJZH-I. If you are unsure which model is needed for your specific electrode and instrument combination, contact us with the electrode model and instrument model and we will confirm the correct adapter.

Will using a connector adapter affect measurement accuracy?

No. The DJZH adapters are passive electrical connectors — they contain no active components and simply provide a physical and electrical interface between the electrode and instrument. They do not introduce any signal processing, amplification or attenuation. Measurement accuracy is determined entirely by the electrode and instrument specifications, not by the adapter.

Are the DJZH adapters compatible with non-Skill Scientific instruments?

Yes. The DJZH adapters use standard BNC (Q9), binding post and direct plug connector formats that are widely used across the laboratory instrument industry. They are compatible with instruments and electrodes from most major manufacturers that use these standard connector types.
