The JB-1 is a compact laboratory magnetic stirrer for liquid sample preparation and chemical reactions. Stirring volume 20–500 mL, stepless speed control up to 2500 r/min. Compatible with all standard analytical instruments including pH meters, conductivity meters and titrators.
The JB-1 magnetic stirrer is a compact, reliable laboratory instrument designed for stirring liquid-state samples. It is widely used in laboratories, industrial and mining enterprises, medical and healthcare facilities, and electronics research sectors for sample preparation, dissolution, mixing and reaction monitoring.
The JB-1 uses a motor to drive magnetic steel rotation, causing the stir bar to rotate within the sample vessel and achieving consistent, efficient mixing. Stepless speed control provides a wide adjustment range, making it suitable for different sample volumes, viscosities and stirring requirements.

The JB-1 is compatible with all standard laboratory beakers and vessels within the 20–500 mL stirring volume range. It is designed to work alongside Skill Scientific electrochemical instruments including pH meters, conductivity meters, ion meters and titrators. It is the standard stirrer supplied with the ZD-2 automatic potentiometric titrator.
Standard PTFE magnetic stir bars are compatible with the JB-1. For most applications in the 50–250 mL range, a 25–40mm stir bar is recommended. For smaller volumes (20–50 mL), use a shorter stir bar to maintain stable rotation. Contact us if you need guidance on stir bar selection for your specific application.
No. The JB-1 is a stirring-only unit and does not have a heating function. If your application requires simultaneous heating and stirring, please contact us — we can advise on suitable hot plate stirrer options.
The JB-1 uses a stepless speed control knob on the front panel. Turn the knob gradually from the minimum position to increase speed. For most laboratory applications, start at a low speed and increase until a smooth, stable vortex forms without splashing. Avoid running at maximum speed with low-volume samples.
The JB-1 is suitable for low to medium viscosity aqueous solutions within the standard stirring volume range. For highly viscous samples or large-volume mixing requirements, a mechanical overhead stirrer may be more appropriate. Contact our team for application-specific recommendations.
