pHS-3CT Benchtop pH Meter

The pHS-3CT is the temperature-equipped version of the pHS-3C, adding a T-820D temperature probe and auto temperature compensation (-5.0°C to 110.0°C). Measures pH, mV and temperature on a 4.3-inch color TFT touchscreen. Suitable for samples at variable or elevated temperatures.

Product Description

The pHS-3CT benchtop pH meter builds on the pHS-3C with the addition of integrated temperature measurement and automatic temperature compensation (ATC). Where the pHS-3C requires manual temperature entry, the pHS-3CT continuously monitors sample temperature via the included T-820D temperature probe and compensates automatically — ensuring accurate pH readings across a wide range from -5.0°C to 110.0°C.

The 4.3-inch color TFT touchscreen displays pH, mV and temperature simultaneously. With 1 to 3 point calibration, BNC / RCA / Binding post electrode connectivity and ±0.01 pH accuracy, the pHS-3CT is suitable for water quality testing, food and beverage analysis, environmental monitoring and general laboratory use where sample temperatures are not always at room temperature.

FAQ

What is the difference between pHS-3C and pHS-3CT?

The pHS-3CT adds integrated temperature measurement and automatic temperature compensation (ATC) to the pHS-3C. It includes a T-820D temperature probe and compensates for temperature automatically from -5.0°C to 110.0°C. The pHS-3C measures only pH and mV, using manual temperature compensation limited to 0–60°C. If your samples vary in temperature or are measured at elevated temperatures, the pHS-3CT is the more appropriate choice.

What temperature range does the pHS-3CT support for automatic compensation?

The pHS-3CT supports automatic temperature compensation (ATC) from -5.0°C to 110.0°C via the included T-820D temperature probe. Manual temperature compensation is also available over the same range. This makes it suitable for hot samples, heated process streams and cold environmental samples that fall outside the standard 0–60°C range of basic benchtop models.

Does the pHS-3CT have data storage or printing functions?

No. The pHS-3CT does not include data storage, GLP printing or USB/RS232 communication. Measurement results are read from the display and recorded manually. If your application requires data logging, GLP-compliant printing or PC connectivity, consider the pHS-3, pHS-4 or pHS-5, which include 1500-point storage, GLP printing and USB/RS232 output.

What buffer standards does the pHS-3CT recognise automatically?

The pHS-3CT automatically recognises JJG119 standard buffer solutions (pH 4.00, 6.86, 9.18 — Chinese national standard). User-defined buffer values are also supported for custom calibration protocols.

What do the exceed-limit alarm and electrode monitoring functions do?

The exceed-limit alarm alerts the operator when a pH reading falls outside a user-defined acceptable range — useful for quality control applications where out-of-specification results require immediate attention. The electrode monitoring function tracks electrode condition in real time and prompts the user when the pH electrode needs cleaning, reconditioning or replacement, helping to maintain measurement accuracy over time.

Is the pHS-3CT suitable for measuring ORP?

Yes. In mV mode, the pHS-3CT measures electrode potential from -2000 to +2000 mV. Connect a compatible ORP electrode via the BNC or RCA input to measure oxidation-reduction potential directly. ORP measurement does not require the temperature probe.
