The ZD-2 is an automatic potentiometric titrator for acid-base, redox and precipitation volumetric analysis in laboratory environments. Features auto/manual/constant-speed titration modes, 1–3 point calibration, GLP data printing and RS232 connectivity. Supplied with JB-1 magnetic stirrer.
The ZD-2 automatic potentiometric titrator is a versatile laboratory instrument designed for potentiometric titration, pH measurement and mV (electrode potential) measurement. It supports manual, automatic and constant-speed titration modes, making it suitable for a wide range of volumetric analysis applications in research, pharmaceutical, food and chemical laboratories.
The instrument automatically detects the titration endpoint using electrode potential change, eliminating reliance on colour indicators and improving result accuracy and reproducibility. Three control modes — endpoint, pre-endpoint and delay — provide flexibility for different titration methods and sample types.
The ZD-2 is supplied complete with a JB-1 magnetic stirrer from the same manufacturer, ensuring reliable sample agitation throughout the titration process.

The ZD-2 supports potentiometric acid-base titration, redox titration and precipitation titration. It can also be used for manual potentiometric titration and direct pH or electrode potential (mV) measurement. The instrument is suitable for volumetric analysis across pharmaceutical, food, chemical and environmental laboratory applications.
Manual mode requires the operator to control the titrant addition throughout the process. Auto mode automatically detects the endpoint based on electrode potential change and stops titration accordingly. Constant-speed mode delivers titrant at a fixed rate and is useful for specific methods where a controlled delivery rate is required.
The ZD-2 is supplied with electrodes from the E-331D, 213, 216, 217 and 232 series. It uses standard BNC and RCA connectors, making it compatible with a wide range of third-party electrodes. Contact our team for guidance on electrode selection for specific titration applications.
Yes. The ZD-2 supports automatic temperature compensation (ATC) from -5.0°C to 110.0°C, as well as manual temperature compensation from 0.0°C to 60.0°C. For most laboratory titration work at ambient temperature, ATC with the included temperature probe is sufficient.
Consistent sample agitation during titration is critical for accurate endpoint detection. The JB-1 magnetic stirrer is manufactured by the same factory and is specifically matched to the ZD-2 for use during titration. Stepless speed control allows agitation to be adjusted for different sample volumes and viscosities without splashing.
The ZD-2 has an RS232 port for connection to a serial printer or PC. Data can be printed directly for GLP documentation or transferred to a PC for record keeping. Contact us for compatible printer models and PC software options.
